ABOUT

Welcome!

I’m so happy I get to share a piece of myself with you. Creating is like breathing, I can’t live without it. Whether that is writing, creating content, or drawing on a sunny day under a tree. Thank you for choosing to explore my written work, I would love to talk to you about the rest!

I am a senior at Baylor University studying journalism with minors in Spanish and political science. Why this academic combination? On a shelf in my house sits a stack of books I wrote when I was four years old. My love of writing has existed as long as I have. In middle school I was reading “The Magic Treehouse” in Spanish, and hoped that one day I would be able to read books that were originally written in the language. To date, I can honestly say my favorite short story is “El Árbol de Oro”. And political science? All it took was one required, freshman year government class to realize I had a desire to better understand how our government worked, and how I as a citizen could contribute to change.

Above all, my desire is to use these passions to make a difference in human trafficking recovery and prevention programs across the country. My diverse work experience has equipped me for this environment, and I am excited to begin my journey!
