In the Spring of 2024, I had the opportunity to work as the editor in chief of Baylor’s Focus Magazine. In this position I recruited writers, edited stories, and designed our Fall 2024 edition from start to finish. When picking the theme, I looked for something present; something that was changing and impacting daily life. This edition focused on the development of artificial intelligence (AI), and whether students and professionals believed this progress would benefit or harm humanity in the end. The final result highlighted the victories and concerns AI brought to the table, and I am incredibly proud of all the writers this season.
